      two ways to donate from this site,

We receive NO TAX DOLLARS as we are independent from law enforcement which makes it possible for many people that would not otherwise want to contact police can still ‘do the right thing’ and come forward with information about crime and fugitives. We provide ‘THE Alternative to Silence’ essential for our communities and their residents to fight crime.

We ask you to help us make our community a safer place to live and work by making a tax deductible donation today in any amount. Remember to ask your employer if they match donations and you may be able to increase the value of your gift!

Responsible Use of Funds
The funds you donate help us pay rewards, maintain state of the art systems to collect crime information; helps us to increase the public’s awareness of how to contact us; lets us coordinate tip information with law enforcement agencies across the State; and lets us publicize specific cases by working with media outlets.

Our systems are a cost efficient approach for law enforcement agencies and citizens. Our awareness efforts create a consistent identity of Crime Stoppers across the Minnesota so individuals can come forward to ‘do the right thing’.

Crime Stoppers of Minnesota complies fully with the reporting requirements of the IRS, the Minnesota Secretary of State, and follows the guidelines of the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits.

A person submitting a tip presented a very clear reason why Crime Stoppers operates. In referring to a drug dealer the tipster stated “he is ruining people’s lives!” Crime is too prevalent and the work of law enforcement relies on citizens to provide crime information and doing so anonymously has proven to be effective.
